How do I refill this ink cartridge?

I have a Epson Stylus CX9400Fax with 4 separate cartridges per color (black, yellow, magenta, cyan) and I have no idea on how to refill them. Anyone know how to? The ink cartridge model is Epson 69.How do I refill this ink cartridge?

Well, if you buy a re-fill kit, the instructions come with it. You'll also have to buy a 'chip resetting' device which resets the chip that's built into the cartridge. Without the reset device, the printer won't know that you've filled the cartridge and won't let you print when the cartridge's ink counter thinks that all the ink has been used up.

On top of that, Epson builds their cartridges in a way so that you can't fully refill the cartridge.

I suggest that you look around the internet for a place that sells cheap OEM cartridges instead of trying to refill the Epson cartridges. If you really want to refill cartridges, then it would be easier and better to get another brand of printer, like a Canon.

This place sells OEM cartridges and refill kits:

You can't, plain and simple.

While you can put ink in the cartridge, the Epson 69 cartridges have a kill feature in the chip that shuts them off when they register as empty (it is a very small fuse that burns out). So when you put it back in your printer it will still read as empty.

So you are stuck buying the official Epson cartridges until someone can find a way to avoid or undo that kill feature.

If your printer will take the 68 Black, buy that instead.
