my cartrigde was not working i searched on net and found that my printing head was blocked follwoing the instructions on net i put water on the head i worked for some time but eventualy stopped working i tried once more but know it is not working even the printer is not accepting the cartridge but the second one is working well. What should I do?Refill cartridge is not working?
The cartridge is bad. Recycle it.
The electrical strips on the front of the cartridge are very sensitive and if you got a lot of water on it, it probably damaged or shorted it.
For an ink cartridge to work well for a long time 6 months or longer, you need to print something periodically to keep the ink flowing inside the cartridge.
What happens when you don't print for awhile, the ink drys on the inside of the cartridge and blocks the remaining ink in the sponge from flowing.
In a perfect world, you would print something that has color and black in it once a week, but these usually isn't feasible.
Look into remanufactured cartridges to save some money on them. They work just as well usually for a fraction of the cost.
