Dude its just not easy to fill without experience by yourself....Give it to the place where u bought or nice service center... learnt it once then u can..dont waste much a lot of money trying urself for the first time or until u dunno...since i too have the same printer:-)
Else go to www.canon.com and read procedure carefully..refill it...

I have a mp600 I tried replacement ink,Well that caused a problem,
Then i switched to cartridge worlds replacement cartridges and have not had a problem,
