Does a Nintendo DS system hold game memory or is the memory stored on the individual game cartridges?

I am selling 2 nintendo ds games and i would like to know if i need to delete the memory on the cartridges or if the saved game data/memory is on my DS system. It is stored in the game, on a flash drive. So therefore you'll have to delete the save files on the game. On Pokemon Diamond %26amp; Pearl, for example, you have to press certain buttons to get the screen that says ';Delete Saved Files'; or something like that.

my ds got broken this one time so i got a new one and all the memory was still there so i figured that the memory is stored on the game cards
The memory for your nintendo ds game is stored inside your game via memory chip. You will have to delete your saved data. The DS system is a replicable system in other words it doesnt have any memory
The memory is held on the cartridges. The Ds isn't capable of hold memory without a memory card.
There is memory on both. You created an ID with your name, that is on the DS itself.





All scores and such, and on the cartridge.

Its in the game cartridges dude.....DS can hold memory if u put an SD card, I think
