Brand name toner cartridges better than store brand or refurbished?

I usually stick to buying name brand toner cartridges for our laser printers at work. Does anyone know if store knock offs or refurbished cartridges work as well?Brand name toner cartridges better than store brand or refurbished?
I can't recommend ';knock offs'; as that implies they are stolen. Your guess is as good as mine to their quality.





Having said that I routinely use unbranded cartridges or refilled cartridges and have never had a problem.

It all depend on the company that refurbishes the cartridges. I have 14 years of experience refurbishing cartridges. I recommend that you find a toner cartridge re manufacturing company in your area that has at least 7 years of experience. For a cartridge to be of high quality, they must replace the important components, like the drum, wiper blade and mag roller blade. It also helps if the supplier only refurbishes the cartridge only once or twice. They usually have plenty of empty cartridges to refurbish once yours has been refurbished more that twice. Get a local supplier that guarantees the product 100% and you should be fine.
no not usually. but they do save you a fortune, and usually work well enough for basic everyday stuff. for regularly printed full color advertising, i'd stick to name brand.
I work at a toner remanufacturing company. We have had success with all our cartridges. While I cant say don't use name brands the remanufactured toners are reliable.
