Can I refill my inject printer cartridge with any ink (literally)?

So, is there a special ink for the inject printers or can I just refill my inject printer cartridge with literally any ink. (like the cheapest one from the bookstore you buy in gallons -actually milliliters or oz :)

Basically is the inject printer ink special ink, or it is just ordinary ink as any ink??

What will happen if I just inject regular ink into the empty cartridge??

THANKSCan I refill my inject printer cartridge with any ink (literally)?
In simple terms-NO

Cartridges should be refilled with the correct type of ink.

You can use new non-proprietary cartridges.

You can use those that the printer manufacturer recommend.

But using anything else but the correct type of ink is like putting milk in your car.

It will not work and it will be ruined. Can I refill my inject printer cartridge with any ink (literally)?
Assuming you meant ';ink jet';, the short answer is no. Ink formulations are proprietary and even refillers cannot duplicate them because of patent infringements.

If the cost is the main concern, get a Kodak printer. The replacement tanks from Kodak cost about half of what other manufacturers charge
If you use universal refill kits, then it should be OK. Universal Refill Kits can refill inkjet cartridges including Epson, Canon, Brother, HP, Lexmark, Xerox, Compaq, Okidata cartridges and so on.

You will destroy your printer. Its not ink, it is a special liquid pigment, and the jets cannot handle regular ink. You will just clog up the head and get ink all over the place.

Ink is oil based, printer ink is water based.
Save money and time. Go to this website to save tons of money, never replace a cartridge and save tons of money.

absolutely not unless you dont want you printer to work anymore. its not even ink. dont do it
you will clog up your ink head. depend on isit oil based or water based for different printer model.
