because we as a nation have not said they can not. it is said that down the line those names are worth 7.9cents each and half that on each re-sell of information. the worth comes from the savings on conducting a survey and the re-sell end. if i gave you 10cents+ each time you asked...would you just stop asking?...Why does Walgreens ask for your name and phone number when you get an ink cartridge refilled?
No this is not the correct answer. What good is selling a name and phone number? You can look that up in a phone book. The real answer is this: We need to find your order when you come back to pick it up and some people have the same name so we use phone number. We don't sell you're info. Report Abuse

Getting anew cartridge would be the war to go. The refills dont work unless you get them professionally done. If you get a new cartridge yo might need to clean the contacts on your printer just to be safe.

How do you refill ink cartridges that are marked SINGLE USE ONLY?

I have a Lexmark printer and the ink cartridges that they gave me are designed for single use only. I tried refilling it but it still won't print because this message kept coming up saying ';you need to replace your cartridge';. Is this because they put some chip in the cartridges or it it a problem with my computer/printer?

As long as it does not have a chip on it or says Return Program (Lexmark only), you should be fine.

The answer is don't. Don't bother risking permanently damaging the internal permanent print head. You are likely to experience poor print quality due to the fact that you are using non Epson ink.





The T0712 ink cartridges contain Epson DURABrite Ultra ink. This is pigment-based ink. The ink in those refill kits or from a refill outlet is NOT Epson ink and it is not pigment-based. The mix of different ink in the ink feed system and print head is likely to cause blockages which might not shift, or at least will mean you will have to use ink in using the Head Clean procedure. It's a false economy.

How can I refill my printer cartridge HP c4180?

For a HP Printer, you will need to use ';Pigmented'; Black - I do not know what cartridges the c4180 uses, but it is likely the black cartridge will need to be drilled to insert ink.





It is probable the tri-color will already have the holes drilled; in both cases, remove the HP sticker that shows cartridge #.





Be sure not to overfill - especially the tri-color; overfilling results in cross-contamination; colors will not print correctly.





Fill to ~ 80% of capacity.
